Dodd Prize in International Justice and Human Rights, to be awarded in Fall 2011 at the University of Connecticut.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/doddprize.uconn.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Information about the nomination process and past winners is available on the Dodd Center&#8217;s website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/doddcenter.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/12\/dodd_bust.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1461\" src=\"http:\/\/doddcenter.files.wordpress.com\/2010\/12\/dodd_bust.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"249\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cpj.org\/2009\/10\/cpj-impact-10.php\" target=\"_blank\">The winner of the 2009 Dodd Prize, the Committee to Protect Journalists<\/a>, has been in the news lately after releasing their <a href=\"http:\/\/cpj.org\/reports\/2010\/12\/journalists-killed-pakistan-deadliest-nation-press.php\" target=\"_blank\">annual year-end analysis of violence against journalists worldwide<\/a>.\u00a0 Pakistan topped the list of the deadliest countries for journalists, with high numbers in Iraq, Mexico, and Honduras as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Nominations will be accepted through December 31, 2010.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The deadline is fast approaching for nominations for the next biennial Thomas J.
