According to Carl Brandt, the post World War II era\u00a0was a great time\u00a0for\u00a0UConn’s football program.\u00a0 Many of these “mature males”\u00a0played\u00a0teams that seemed\u00a0to be made up of “kids” just out of High School.\u00a0 The score below is an\u00a0indication of one such game.\u00a0 Mr. Brandt recalls\u00a0another score of something like 105 to 0, but doesn’t have an official photo of it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
