{"id":3896,"date":"2013-06-28T08:11:55","date_gmt":"2013-06-28T08:11:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs-dev.lib.uconn.edu\/archives\/?p=3896"},"modified":"2013-06-25T14:27:13","modified_gmt":"2013-06-25T14:27:13","slug":"summer-2013-interns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-dev.lib.uconn.edu\/archives\/2013\/06\/28\/summer-2013-interns\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer 2013 Interns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each summer Archives &amp; Special Collections offers internships to graduate students from a\u00a0broad spectrum\u00a0of academic backgrounds.\u00a0 Interns work with\u00a0collections\u00a0preserved by\u00a0the Dodd Research Center and learn the intricacies of preparing collections for future use by researchers.\u00a0 Archives &amp; Special Collections benefits from the focused attention of these\u00a0young scholars who\u00a0work\u00a0to enhance access\u00a0to the collections we steward. This summer we\u00a0are pleased to have five students working on a variety of projects.\u00a0 Pictured below are\u00a0(seated) Arielle Rubins, (standing, l-r) Jorge Santos, Andrew Maloney and Jeffrey Egan.
