Special Collections\u00a0has installed a small exhibit illustrating her family heritage, World War II era experiences and interest in documenting and supporting research\u00a0related to the Holocaust and its survivors.\u00a0 Items on display are from her personal collection as well as materials that have been donated to the University of Connecticut.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5020\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs-dev.lib.uconn.edu\/archives\/files\/2014\/12\/blog_deTour-2-150x1501.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5020\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5020\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs-dev.lib.uconn.edu\/archives\/files\/2014\/12\/blog_deTour-2-150x1501.jpg\" alt=\"Portion of deTour exhibit\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5020\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Portion of deTour exhibit<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ms. deTour is the widow of Laurence Urdang and the proud mother of two UConn graduates, Alexandra and Nicole, and three\u00a0grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit is open and available for viewing during posted A&amp;SC Reading Room <a href=\"http:\/\/doddcenter.uconn.edu\/asc\/about\/visitor\/hours\/index.htm\">hours<\/a> through January 23, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
