Writing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2009 Raab Associates Prize in Illustration was another opportunity for the Dodd Research Center to partner with the School of Fine Arts and Professor Cora Lyn Deibler.\u00a0 Now in its 11th year, the competition which was initiated in 1999 by\u00a0alumni Susan Salzman Raab and her husband David, gives students of\u00a0illustration\u00a0a poem to illustrate, which again this year was an original work by <a href=\"http:\/\/janeyolen.com\/\">Jane\u00a0Yolen<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This year&#8217;s winner is Katelyn Fox.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/doddcenter.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/11\/kfox-prize-winner.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"KFox prize winner\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The poem is as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>Bug Games<\/strong><br \/>\nGrasshopper,<br \/>\nDragonfly,<br \/>\nLady bug,<br \/>\nFlea,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">How many<br \/>\nBugs<br \/>\nHopscotch<br \/>\nOn a tree?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Centipedes,<br \/>\nCrickets,<br \/>\nEarwigs,<br \/>\nFlies,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Who plays<br \/>\nTag,<br \/>\nWho wins the<br \/>\nPrize?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Cabbage Worm,<br \/>\nBeetle,<br \/>\nEarwig,<br \/>\nGrub,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">When games<br \/>\nAre over,<br \/>\nWho&#8217;s first<br \/>\nIn the tub?<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">Because of the generousity of the Raabs, this year marks the first Raab Associates Prize in Writing.\u00a0 As with the illustration prize, students in the College of Liberal Arts &amp;
