| A practical 1.5 day short course for  landscapers, designers, maintenance care providers and   volunteers    Have you been hearing the buzz about rain gardens? Come to this   workshop to learn what they are, how they work, and how to install them. This   1.5 day workshop will start with a classroom session, then conclude with an   actual installation of a rain garden. Instructors are from the University of   Connecticut NEMO program and the University of Rhode Island Outreach Center. Rain gardens are   increasingly being used by homeowners and municipalities to reduce the impact   of stormwater on local waterways and the Long Island Sound. |
