The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newberry.org\/\">Newberry Library<\/a> in Chicago, Illinois [<a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=60+West+Walton+Street+Chicago,+IL+60610-3380&amp;sll=41.93089,-87.630386&amp;sspn=0.110595,0.176468&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;hq=&amp;hnear=60+W+Walton+St,+Chicago,+Cook,+Illinois+60610&amp;z=16\">map it<\/a>] has a short term and a long term fellowship opportunity for to conduct research using their vast collections.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newberry.org\/research\/felshp\/fellowshome.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px;text-align: center;cursor: pointer;width: 400px;height: 275px\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_zfcRw4HNDp8\/SxghSkpgM8I\/AAAAAAAAAFs\/Z55R1Bca6dE\/s400\/newberry.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>For short term fellowships, PhD and post-doctoral scholars are eligible and awards are typically for one month periods. Stipends are $1600 per month.<\/p>\n<p>For long term fellowships, are designed to support research and writing by scholars with a doctorate for a range of 6-11 months.
